Overview

Utilix is designed to be privacy-first. The vast majority of tools process your data entirely in your browser. This policy explains what limited data we do collect and how it is used.

Data we collect

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — which tools are popular, where visitors come from, and general usage patterns. GA4 collects anonymized session data, including anonymized IP addresses. We have disabled Google Signals. GA4 data is subject to Google's privacy policy.

Advertising

We display ads served by Google AdSense. AdSense may set cookies to personalize ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalized ads at google.com/settings/ads.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, your email and message are processed by Formspree and sent to us. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry.

Tool inputs

Tools that run client-side (JSON formatter, EMI calculator, PDF merge, image converter, hash generator, etc.) process your data entirely in your browser. No input data is transmitted to our servers.

AI tools (text summarizer, Nepali translator) send your input text to the Anthropic Claude API for processing. This data is not stored beyond the duration of the API call. It is subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.

Cookies

We use the following cookies:

  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): Session and user behavior tracking. Retained for 14 months.
  • Advertising cookies (Google AdSense): Ad personalization and frequency capping. Retained per Google's standard.
  • Preference cookies (next-themes): Stores your light/dark mode preference locally. Not transmitted.

Your rights

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

We will update the "Last updated" date when this policy changes materially. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance.
